About the webinar series

Elder Law is growing in importance as the population ages and as longevity increases with advances in medical science. We’re living longer and there are more of us. And there’s more money around – house prices and superannuation have seen to that!
The law, as usual, is barely keeping up: it’s a patchwork of State and federal laws only some of which are designed to deal with the legal problems of the elderly. The law affecting the elderly spans succession law, estate planning, equity and equitable remedies, as well as taxation and superannuation and statutory regimes like the Commonwealth Aged Care Act and the State Retirement Villages legislation.
This webinar series is our first solo foray into this important area of law and is a prelude to the launch of a national two-day event on elder law in the June quarter of 2018.
The series is presented by leading Australian Elder Law specialists CRH Law and features presentations by Brian Herd, Senior Partner and Margaret Arthur, Partner, CRH Law.
