The modern world is complex and life is no longer simple!  Modern families, often blended or fragmented, and modern digital assets and digital accounts mean traditional boilerplate Wills are no longer acceptable.  This session examines how practitioners can create bespoke documents reflecting each client’s individual circumstances and wishes regarding the distribution of their estate on death.  It covers:

  • Advanced drafting strategies for complex asset classes including digital accounts and assets, superannuation, and interests in private or family entities.

Paul Evans has over 20 years experience in the area of Private Clients.

Paul is a regular speaker on Wills and Estate Law at Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Superannuation seminars providing continuing legal education for solicitors and other professionals. He also lectures on estate planning at the University of Technology, Sydney and is sought after for his wealth of knowledge and his vast experience.

Paul qualified as a Solicitor in England in 1992 and in NSW in 1994.

Paul specialises in wills and estate planning, disputes to wills, protecting assets for future generations and estate administration. Paul lived in London for 18 years and during that time specialised in inheritance tax mitigation. He also acted for charities, including Save the Children Fund and The King Edward's Hospital Fund for London.

Paul is highly experienced in assisting a range of clients including high net worth individuals in transferring and protecting their wealth. He has also helped many clients with a blended family to create solutions to provide for all family members.

Paul prides himself on making clients feel at ease in having to deal with death, he simplifies the process, however he is meticulous with attention to detail and asks the right questions to ensure your will protects the ones you love and cherish the most.
