Strong data security measures in IT infrastructure is therefore crucial. Nicole is a director of Paxton-Hall Lawyers in Brisbane.

She is a commercial and charity lawyer, with a particular interest and expertise in technology law.

Nicole has a broad commercial practice acting for a variety of clients in relation to corporate advisory, governance and structuring work, property law (including acquisition, development and leasing), mergers and acquisitions and intellectual property matters.

As an experienced charity lawyer, Nicole has acted for a range of charities across a variety of sectors on matters expanding across areas of commercial law and also charity law specific issues including structuring of charities, obtaining a variety of tax concession endorsements, governance and constitutions reviews, membership disputes, assisting incorporated associations and letters patent entities in transferring to companies limited by guarantee, establishing and operating public and private ancillary funds, school structuring and accreditation, establishing public funds (including scholarship funds, school buildings funds etc), fundraising compliance, ACNC investigations and compliance, cy-prés schemes and charitable trust administration.

Nicole sits on the board of 3 charities, including the board of a trustee formed by the congregation of Catholic Sisters in Brisbane as part of their journey to completion. She is a member of the Queensland Law Society's not-for-profit law committee and represents Paxton-Hall Lawyers as a member of the ACNC's Adviser Forum.
