About the Webinar

When clients sign lending documents, guarantees or complex security arrangements, they rely on you to help them understand the fine print — and the professional risk sits squarely with the solicitor who signs the certificate. In this focused webinar, we break down the real-world issues that trip practitioners up and show you how to navigate them with confidence. This session covers:

  • What a solicitor’s certificate actually represents — and the limits of your responsibility
  • Common pressure points in guarantees, indemnities and mortgage documents that deserve a second look
  • How to run an efficient but defensible client explanation process (and what to document every single time)
  • Practical risk-management steps that protect both your client and your PI insurance
  • Emerging trends in lender requirements and how they’re shaping practitioner expectations
