About the Conference

The family law landscape has shifted dramatically, and practitioners are now working in a far more demanding and high-risk environment. The 2025 property law amendments have changed the way financial matters are approached and argued. At the same time, courts are placing greater focus on family violence, disclosure failures, hidden assets and professional conduct. Parenting disputes are also evolving, with new statutory pathways and changing judicial approaches reshaping the advice lawyers give every day.

The 20th Annual Family Law Conference brings together leading family law specialists from across Australia to examine the issues shaping practice right now.
